Botanical Typeface

The typeface ‘Botanical’ was inspired by Urban Jungle, a Norfolk garden centre and cafe hosting unique plants in an exotic setting. The immersive experience of Urban Jungle is reflected through the heavyweight typeface. ‘Botanical’ was designed to be bold and fill the page, as the leaves do within the greenhouse, with small sections taken out of the letterforms to appear as though they are leaves with their natural holes and bug bites. The typeface stands out with its distinctive ‘hero’ characters, designed to look like leaves from different types of plants.
